IKIA to Kashan Pick up Tour
Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) is your first base of connection between the outside world and Iran, and we want it to be the start point of a timeless trip!
Instead of spending four hours on a boring airport pick-up, you will visit Qom and the exquisite architecture of Holy Shrine of Fatima Masoumeh which would give you a unique chance to take impressive photos.
In the 8th century, Qom was one of the centers of Shia Islam. In 816 Fāṭimah, the sister of the eighth Imam of the Twelver Shia Imam passed away in the town and was buried there. It became a place of pilgrimage in the 17th century when the Safavid rulers built a golden-domed shrine over Fatima’s tomb.
Thousands of Muslims travel to the city of Qom to honor and ask Fatima Masoumeh, for blessings. They stay for hours or days praying at the main mosque and beside her tomb. You will find this shrine very crowded most of the time and would be surprised by the stories of many miracles that have been recorded as taking place at this shrine.
Being with pilgrims from all around Iran for a few hours, watching young women wearing white floral chadors and old men with sacred books in their hands can also create an unforgettable memory of Islamic rituals for you!
Kashan would be our final destination with a totally different historical background and cultural atmosphere! This delightful oasis city on the edge of the Dasht-e Kavir is one of Iran’s most alluring destinations. It not only boasts a cluster of architectural wonders, an atmospheric covered bazaar, and a UNESCO inscribed garden but also offers some of central Iran’s best traditional hotels.
Fin Garden, Sultan Mir Ahmad Bathhouse and traditional houses such as Abbasian House and also historical sites like Nooshabad Underground City and Agha Bozorg Mosque are among Kashan’s popular attractions.
