Isfahan Rafting Tour
On this rafting tour, we visit Zaman Khan Bridge, a historical structure from the Safavid era. Its rocky foundation is located on Zayanderud river, consists of two beautiful arches and is among the best spots for rafting in Iran. Its rafting route is 17 km long and it usually takes about 5 hours to pass.
Like a floating tree trunk after a destructive storm, our inflatable raft finds its way down the river. Bashing into rocks it rotates, accelerates and changes directions in a chaotic path. Occasional waves of power fill our raft and push our mortal bodies back. We are concentrated, focused and alive as we paddle down the river. This tour is truly a test of will power.
After hours of struggling and fighting with waves and rocks, we get to a calm part of the river. Our body is soaked and exhausted and our heart is beating out of our chest, with perseverance, cooperation, and desire, we accomplished our mission. Now we are laying on the warm ground of the riverside with a satisfied and proud mind.
