Central parts of Rasht are famous for being full of crowds all day long. However, things change a bit when the sky starts to get dark. When the shops near Shahrdari Square close in the evening, numerous carts pop up in the neighborhood. This is the hour when people come to hang out in the central part of the city again, only this time to enjoy the evening weather, take a walk, and eat some delicious street food. The carts sell all sorts of delicious edibles like baghali (link to post), hot and cold drinks, fruits, kebabs and other local favorites.
The streets close to Shahrdari square are usually filled with families and young locals in the night, where they may come for a cup of tea, kebab, or a nice evening walk. The carts are usually in service until midnight, specially on the weekends.
