No. 46, Alley 9, Hakim St., Isfahan.
Description
Shahsavaaraan Boutique Hotel in Isfahan is a beautifully restored mansion that dates back about 150 years, originally built during the Qajar era. This historical property was owned by the prominent merchant Mohammad Hossein Kazerooni, who was known for his business ventures both in Iran and abroad. The mansion was carefully renovated in 2019 by Mehdi Shahsavaarian, with a focus on preserving the original architectural charm. After two years of intricate restoration work, it reopened as a boutique hotel in 2021.
Located in the heart of Isfahan's historic district, Shahsavaaraan is just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Naqsh-e Jahan Square, offering easy access to major landmarks such as the Shah Mosque and the Ali Qapu Palace. Public transportation is also accessible, with the nearest metro station located about 1.2 kilometers away.
The hotel features 11 uniquely designed rooms, each named to reflect its history and architecture. Some of the most notable rooms include the Shah-Neshin (King's Seat), Hozkhaneh (Pool Room), and Shazdeh (Prince's Room). Each room is decorated with intricate mirror work, stained glass windows, and traditional wall paintings. Modern amenities such as air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms are also available, blending comfort with historical elegance.
The boutique hotel offers a serene courtyard where guests can enjoy breakfast amidst beautiful greenery and traditional fountains. The in-house restaurant serves both local and international dishes, with the breakfast menu receiving high praise from visitors for its variety and quality.
