Solitude in Iran’s Central Desert
Iran is home to many beauties. From its rich history to the amazing architecture in every city to the wondrous deserts. Moving from one desert village to another in the central deserts of Iran and visiting the untouched parts of Iran is truly an adventure. We usually are surrounded by technology and daily routines. In this modern world you might not find the inner peace that you wish for with all the stress, competition and greed going on. However, now you have this chance to escape from all the distractions and go to a place that helps you find the real you.
In Persian philosophy and literature, deserts are the temples of peace. There are numerous stories about characters in love moving away from societies and get lost in the desert to forget about their unreachable love. Majnoon, a legendary character in Hakim Nezami book Leili o Majnoon falls in love with a girl called Leili but due to some obstacles, specially Leili’s father he won’t be able to reach his love. This tragedy is so hard on him that he will leave everything behind and go on to live in the deserts alone.
Lets become Majnoon (literally means crazy in Persian) for some days and enjoy some precious lonely times in deserts.
