With an area of one square kilometer, this old market is the largest indoor market in the world. Tabriz Grand Bazaar is on the UNESCO World Heritage List as one of the historical attractions. In this market, many caravanserais, mosques, and schools have been built with brick facades and beautiful domes that attract the attention of every tourist.
Tabriz Bazaar was of great commercial importance during the Silk Road, and the bazaar business flourished during the Safavid rule. The old bazaar of Tabriz was destroyed by a devastating earthquake in 1193 AH but was repaired and rebuilt by order of the ruler of Tabriz (Najaf Gholi Khan Dan Bali). The issue that has doubled the attractiveness of this old market is the buying and selling of traditional businesses of the people of Tabriz. The activity of bazaar merchants has caused the preservation of the originality and ancient art of the inhabitants of Tabriz.
This historical monument is located in one of the city’s old neighborhoods and was registered in the list of national monuments of Iran in 1975. This mansion was owned by Haj Mehdi and was built in the style of Qajar architecture. In the Museum of the Constitutional House, statues, valuable items such as Sattar Khan’s weapons, and historical documents are on display for visitors, and significant travelers visit the Constitutional House every year.

The history of this ancient cemetery dates back to before the eighth century AH. Maqbaratoshoara remained almost abandoned until 1971 after being destroyed by an earthquake. Maqbaratoshoara architecture is known as one of the important symbols of Tabriz.
More than 400 celebrities, most of them poets, are buried in Maqbaratoshoara Cemetery; The most famous people in this cemetery are Hakim Asadi Tusi and Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Behjat Tabrizi (Shahriar). The main building of Arg-e-Alishah in Tabriz dates back to the eighth century AD, related to the Ilkhanid period. This building was initially built for a mosque, which remained half-finished due to the roof’s collapse. During the war between Iran and Russia, a military wall was constructed from Arg-e-Alishah in Tabriz, coinciding with the Qajar rule. This historical monument was registered in 1921 as one of the national monuments of Iran, and today, only the southern wall of the citadel remains.

50 km from the city of Tabriz is one of the most spectacular attractions of Tabriz, which is more than a thousand years old. Kandovan was included in the list of national monuments of Iran in 1997 due to its unique architectural style. Kandovan is one of the three rock villages globally and is the only rocky area where about 120 families live in rocky areas (honeycomb). This village is known and recognized as the only living example of rock architecture in which life takes place.
Shahgoli park is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Tabriz. The Eil Goli mansion was built during the reign of The Aq Qoyunlu and was used as the largest source of water storage to irrigate the gardens of the eastern regions up to the gates of Tehran and Tepli Bagh. Eil Goli (Shahgoli) park was expanded in the Safavid dynasty and was handed over to Tabriz Municipality as a public promenade during the Pahlavi government.
