Yazd province is home to a number of famous deserts and desert camps in Iran. Many villages and cities, including Yazd itself, were built in amazing harmony with the harsh weather conditions of this deserted regions. The architecture, culture, and lifestyle of this region is heavily influenced by the dry nature of the desert.
We start our tour by visiting the historic village of Fahraj which is close to Yazd. After visiting the Jameh Mosque of Fahraj which is one of the oldest mosques built in Iran, we move on to the desert.
The desert we will be visiting on this tour is Sadegh Abad Desert(Yazd tours). It is located 140 kilometers away from Yazd. The desert is located next to a village with the same name. There is also a basic desert camp available in Sadegh Abad. While in desert, we will enjoy walking on the sand dunes, camel riding, watching the sunset, making tea on fire and watching the stars at night.
